Distance Orientation event
We are hosting a tailored orientation event for our distance students. Get to know your fellow classmates and familiarise yourself with the campus. Attend your closest Massey campus on Saturday 12 July for a welcome, a Massey 101 session and a campus tour.

Online onlyCome to this session to meet key lecturers, find out what to expect from your distance agricultural science related studies at Massey and where to get information & advice. This is for all students studying the following qualifications:

Online onlyIntroduction to Massey’s Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Information Sciences qualifications with key information you need to know. Meet key lecturers and get ready to start in sciences. This is for all students studying majors in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Information Sciences, studying a Certificate in Science & Technology or studying a Graduate Diploma in sciences.

1.00pm - Construction Masters and Postgrad Qualifications Orientation Session
Online onlyCome and join the postgraduate team from the School of Built Environment to talk all things postgraduate study in Construction! This session is for all Masters in Construction, Postgraduate Diploma in Construction or other construction postgraduate students. Students studying a Graduate Diploma or Diploma should attend the undergraduate session.

1.00pm - Sciences Postgraduate Orientation Session
Online onlyThe postgraduate Sciences team will provide a general introduction to postgraduate studies, introduce you to Sciences Postgraduate contacts, provide some key advice for your Masters or Doctoral studies and end with a Q&A.
This is a session for all postgraduate science students, other than those in construction. This includes all Masters and Post Graduate Diplomas within Sciences, all Postgraduate Diploma students in Sciences and all Sciences PhDs.

Online onlyOfficial welcome to new distance Construction students. You will meet key school staff and find out all you need to know to get your semester in construction started.

6.00pm to 7.00pm - Ignite Distance Orientation
Online onlyIn this session, we will discuss the first-year student experience and the support services available to you to help you succeed. Ignite Orientation is an opportunity to build connections and have some fun to set you up for a successful and enjoyable first semester.
