Post event survey terms and conditions -

Terms and conditions for the Massey University International Online Open Day post-event survey prize draw.

  1. The Competition opens at 9am on Monday 7 September 2026 and closes at midnight on Sunday 20 September 2026 (the “Competition Period”). All entries must be received during the Competition Period.
  2. This Competition is open to all participants who attend the Massey University International Online Open Day and who receive and complete the International Online Open Day post-event survey during the Competition Period.
  3. One entry per person.
  4. Employees, agents, agent's employees and contractors of Massey University and the (“Immediate Family”) of such persons, are not eligible to enter this Competition or to win prizes. “Immediate Family” of a person is defined as the parents, siblings, children and spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person.
  5. There is 1 prize of an International Visa Gift Card with a value of NZ$200 available. In the event that the prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason, Massey University may substitute a prize of equal value. The prize is not transferable or convertible for other alternatives and cannot be exchanged for cash. Only the winner can participate, no other family members, friends, associates or any other person can act on the winner's behalf.
  6. A winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries on Monday 21 September 2026 at 10am. The final decision in respect of any winning entry will be at the sole discretion of Massey University marketing staff, and no negotiations or correspondence will be entered into.
  7. Participants are responsible for supplying correct contact details. If Massey University is unable to contact the winner within 48 hours of the draw on 21 September 2026, having made reasonable efforts to do so, the winner's entry will be declared invalid, and Massey University reserves the right to select another winner. Massey University takes no responsibility for lost or damaged prizes, or any direct or indirect loss suffered by the winner as a result of or in relation to receiving the Prize. The winner claims the prize entirely at their own risk and indemnifies Massey University in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with their use of the prize. The winner is responsible for all insurance, tax or other costs that may be associated with the prize.
  8. Massey University reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or dishonest manner.
  9. The winner agrees to be involved in any reasonable promotional activities requested by Massey University, including but not limited to photographs and publication of the winner's name.
  10. If this Competition cannot be run as planned for reasons beyond the control of Massey University, Massey University reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel this Competition.
  11. Massey University is not liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage caused by the participants or winners in relation to the Prize or this Competition.
  12. The personal information provided by each participant in entering this Competition will be held in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. The personal information will be stored on a database and may be used only by Massey University for publication of the winner's name on the Massey University website and social media sites. Massey University will not sell, disclose or distribute the personal information provided by customers to any person, organisation, agency or other third party. Entrants may request access to their information or may request their information be removed from the database by contacting Massey University.
  13. Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
